Harvard Writing Program’s new office suite was designed to provide a bright & welcoming space that nurtures creativity and learning.
The design accommodates the high volume of Student to Preceptor/Faculty meetings that takes place over the course of the freshmen year. Open meeting areas with counters and stools are located throughout the space for informal meetings. A light-filled lounge is another place to gather informally while Preceptor offices allow for private meetings. The seminar room supports group meetings and film screenings, which are integral parts of the expository writing curriculum.
A mix of specialty and indirect lighting throughout the suite and daylight filtering through the glass front offices creates a visually bright atmosphere to complement the vibrant activity.
